Prolific celebrates 3 huge milestones with its first summer BBQ
Last week, we threw Prolific’s first-ever summer BBQ!
In 2023, we’ve hit three huge milestones. We’ve series A fundraised £25,000,000. We now have over 100 employees. And we’ve completed a cracking rebrand…if we do say so ourselves.
To celebrate these accomplishments and say thanks to all our Prolificos who contributed to our success, we threw Prolific’s first-ever summer BBQ in London. And the weather was on our side ☀️
As a company, we all meet up once a year at Prolificon, our annual company event in Q4. We recognise the importance of in-person interactions, particularly in a remote-first business model.
Bringing everyone together enables each Prolifico to connect with those outside their team and department. All while diving headfirst into Prolific's grand mission and future dreams.

Our summer BBQ was a chance for us to showcase our culture and values. It was a fun and inclusive event where our employees had the afternoon off to socialise and relax, as we’re all about work-life balance.
Along with a range of drinks and cocktails, we served up some delicious BBQ food and fresh pizzas. And we had fresh churros and an ice cream roll stand to tuck into.
No BBQ is complete without games. So, we had a variety of games to play such as air hockey, foosball, giant Kerplunk & Connect 4, biscuit decorating, and several card and board games. Plus the very popular strike-a-light game, where we saw some Prolificos get competitive.
Our next in-person meet-up (Prolificon) is only a few months away. And we’re already looking forward to getting back together.
