What’s it like to interview with Prolific?
Job interviews can be stressful and nerve-wracking experiences. Especially when you’re not sure what to expect.
But at Prolific, you’ve got nothing to worry about. We’ve crafted an interview process that’s smooth and enjoyable for everyone involved.
Whether you’ve yet to apply or you’re already several interviews in, this handy guide will help you understand what comes next in your path to Prolific.
What does the interview process look like?
The Prolific interview process takes around 3 hours in total. This is what it looks like, from start to finish:
- Apply - You’ve submitted your application. Nice! You can put your feet up for now - we’ll take it from here.
- Application review - A member of our talent team will review your application and your CV. We’ll try to provide you with feedback (positive or negative) within 48 hours.
- Talent screen - If you’re successful, we’ll invite you to a chill, informal 30-minute phone or video call with one of our talent partners. This is an opportunity to talk about your motivations, experience and skills. Feel free to blow your own trumpet here 😉. We’ll also go into more detail about the company and the role. We’ll answer all your questions too - interviewing is a two-way street after all!
- Hiring manager interview - This stage will be 60 minutes with two members of the team, one of which will be the hiring manager. You'll have the opportunity to ask about the company and the role in depth, and we'll ask you questions about your experiences and goals. This interview will delve more into your skills. There might also be scenario-based questions about your experience.
- Panel interview - This stage is where we assess your competency for the role. Depending on the role, you might need to complete a task or give a presentation as part of this interview.
- Final interview - You’re at the final stage! This will be a 30-minute meeting with some senior members of the business. There will be a discussion about your experience, motivations and skills, and how they align with the Prolific Principles.
- Offer - Drumroll, please… you’ve made it!! You’ll be informed of your interview success within 24 hours of your interview and the talent partner will go through the offer details with you before sending the offer over in an email. If you accept our offer, the talent partner will support you in signing your employment contract before handing it over to our People team to kick-start your onboarding.
- Hire - Congratulations! You’re now a Prolifico!
