We’re always experimenting to enrich your research experience on Prolific. And we’ve got another round of updates to share in this post. From a powerful new tool to estimate participant recruitment time to an opportunity to join us at a cutting-edge AI research event, here's what's new:
Estimate your recruitment time!
Planning your study effectively is crucial, especially when working on tight deadlines or managing multiple projects. To support your planning, we’re introducing an experimental feature for some users that estimates how long it will take to recruit the participants you need.
This feature considers a range of study parameters—like the profiles of the participant you need, study duration, and compensation rates—to provide an accurate time estimate. With this information at your fingertips, you can better plan your study timeline and avoid unnecessary delays.
As this is an experimental feature, it’s currently available to select researchers only. We’ll be evaluating its performance closely and look forward to making it available to all users in the near future.
